The look and feel of the editor mostly doesnt match. It does helps people to easly recognize syntax from the colors they used to work on.
MS SQL Server for example. Select from group are blue colored when viewing it on Query Analyzer but it was only Bold on this editor. Grayed color on =,),(,+, etc.. I think the format helps programmers to read codes easily if it is being viewed on the same format they used to read it.
