The editor highlights "<?" correctly, but is not highlighting "<?php". (it displays the "<?" as red on yellow, and "php" as purple on background -- should display the whole "<?php" in the same colors)
The "new standard" is to not use "<?" anymore and only use "<?php". Actually, I just noticed that using the PHP highlighter displays differently than the HTML Multihighlighter. (might be my color settings -- although I just looked at them, and I don't see anywhere where I specify that "<?" be red on light yellow in HTML highlighting settings -- HTML multihighlighter is checked on but dimmed out so I can't select it to modify settings) Is this a setting I don't have turned on or something? Is it something I can change in the PHP and/or Multi-Highlighter files? Thanks. PSP 4.5.5 (2395) -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,55093,55093> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
