Hi All. I am a long time PsPad user and I'd like to thank the developers for suich a great tool.
I thought I might ask about something which looks like a bug to me. I have an ascii text file with rather long lines of text (like over 750 characters) and in every line I have 2 ascii characters of hex value 0D05 but for some reason when PsPad opens it puts a line break on that and it seems to also add a 0A in the middle (Making it 0D0A05). I have tried other text editors and it does not add this line break so could this be a bug? Another bug is that when I am working on a FTP server, if I leave the FTP panel to the left idle for a little while the connection seems to simply die. This is shown when I click the refresh button, the directory listing panel simply becomes blank so I have to disconnect and connect again or if I simply double click a file or path it will immediately throw me back to the default path. As for improvements, one thing which I use on daily basis is the file comparison and when I am doing it with text file with a high amount of characters per line (Like I mentioned above) it will show that a line has a difference but if this difference is past a certain column number in the text I cannot see what it is since the difference window at the bottom is not scrollable. It would be nice to be able to scroll the bottom panel which shows the difference and maybe even make it syncronized with the other 2 comparison panels. One other small suggestion which I'd like to add is to add a text field (Or a button that open a text filed) somewhere in the FTP panel (To the left) so that I can easily change the path within an FTP server by copying and pasting the path instead of having to either cick my way through or edit the ftp information all the time to change the default path. Again thanks for the great software. Regards NooK -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,55188,55188> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
