The auto-completion of "brackets" (and other characters, like quotes), usually only works "at the end of whitespace or a line". (I think that is correct)
So, if you type "[", you will get "[]", but, if you are "inside text", like "if (|)", where "|" is the cursor, then typing "[" will not get you "[]" and "if ([|])". I'm guessing this is a feature of some sort and not a bug. Sometimes the auto-complete of bracketed characters is not the best thing to have, but sometimes it does come in handy. Maybe there should be an option to "always auto-complete". I don't know if I would like that option, or use it, or not. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,55123,55215> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
