Xantier: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Under Format the same encoding is checked for all open files even if I change it. I would expect it to be changed only for the file in the active tab. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't change encoding in format menu, if you don't want to change it for current file. Important information for you is in the statusbar - you see there used document encoding. Change encoding in case file is in wrong encoding: 1. you see that file you open has wrong encoding 2. in format menu change encoding 3. press Ctrl+R for reload file Change target encoding if you want to save your file e.g. in UTF-8 1. open file, you see the letters are ok 2. in menu format change encoding (change is made in statusbar) 3. save your file -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,55242,55278> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
