Hi, I've used pspad to connect to two different websites regularly without any problem. Suddenly I can't connect to either and keep getting the error message 10061.
FTP: Can't connect to 'www.xx.co.uk' Error Code: 10061 WSAECONNREFUSED (10061) Translation: Connection refused. Description: No connection can be made because the destination computer actively refuses it. This error typically results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the foreign host, that is, one that does not have a server program running. I've tried accessing pspad on 3 different laptops in case it was a problem locally. I've also tried on a number of different days and the problem keeps recurring. Both websites are live and someone else has been able to connect from his machine, so it doesn't seem to be a server problem at the other end. I've tried adding ":21" to the end of the addresses "www.xx.co.uk:21" as suggested on another thread in this forum, but with no success. Any assistance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated; no matter how obvious they might seem..
