Hello, I use PsPad a lot for coding html, css, typoscript (with SweeTS addon) and php and I absolutely love it, thank you for the great product!
Since I had troubles with my arms last year from over use (RSI-Syndrome) I started using speech recognition (Dragon Naturally Speaking) for my emails and a lot of other stuff like surfing, etc. I also use it for coding css and html which works really good but there is one thing missing: Text Correction and a lot of the implemented commands dont work in PsPad because the Text-Control is not "Select-and-Say"-enabled. From my understanding there is only very little work required to make it work. Basically it depends on which class you use for edit controls. The following link provides a document that lists these classes. You will find them on page 3, I read you use Delphi, there are some Borland classes there as well. http://supportcontent.nuance.com/kbfiles/5176-wp_WinAppsCompatWithDNS_807.pdf it would be absolutely awesome, if you could implement the corresponding class for the text area of PsPad since this would enable full support for not only my speech recognition software but also for in example Windows speech recognition. Also this might get you some extra users since this is a feature which no freeware editor has and that is often requested. I would love to hear from you on this issue, thank you for your support. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,56098,56098> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
