kaji00: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've read quite a bit of posts trying to find a way to do this, but basically, I have used PSPad for a few weeks, and one of the things nagging at me, is that I cannot clear my find searches after using them.
I love the drop down selection option, its wonderful for my more common uses, but when I use find for a specific line, it then overrides the top of my common uses list, and since I often have to do many find searches, I often find my 'common' find searches gone. What I'm looking for is a way to disable additions to the find drop down selection box which would allow me to continue using the selection box as a quick select. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, the history of previous search pattern is stored in the file Recent.INI (in the individual account folder (mulitiuser mode) or in the program directory) in the section [Find/Replace find history] However, I don't think, there is currently a comfortable way to edit these items; of course, the file can be edited manually, but only while PSPad is not running, i.e. with another editor. vbr -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,56207,56208> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
