Yes. Open the file in the remote window so its uploaded automatically. If you create a new file you should use right click on the tab and select "save on ftp".
I like this way much more than the way of NP++ or Dreamweaver. This is safer as you don't open an "old" local file make some changes and kill the "newer" file on the ftp.
