I evaluate with PS-Pad many log-files that are TAB delimited. Some columns are very short (i.e. flags), some are 10 characters long (dates) some 5 (ZIP Codes) and some text columns are very long (30, 70...). One can set tab steps in the Editor settings to a certain value. As default it is perfect. But not good enough. By clicking the ruler one can set the length of the wrapped line. (The functionality could switch depending on wrap modus Ctrl-W.) Would it be possible to set different tab stops by clicking on the ruler? Click to set, click to unset. Something similar like MS Word. This would help me a lot, because the lines in the log file I evaluate have same structure, but very different lengths.
