Hey. When i doubleclick a file (.txt, .ini, .xml) it should open in PSPAD, but instead a NewFile.txt opens. I know this is a configuration, but even when i make the configuration, that no file should be shown when starting pspad, no file shows up. When i doubleclick or send a file to PSPAD i would expect that the file opens. Somehow i only get this error on a Windows 2008 Server R2 machine. Now i doubleclick on a file, pspad opens, does not show the file, then i have to drag the file into pspad. When i drop it, it is shown. Even when PSPAD is already started and i click on a file to open it, it will not open.
I tried installing it as Administrator, starting as Admin - does not help. I gave the directory all rights available for my user to start PSPAD - no luck. I deinstalled, cleaned the registry, installed again - no luck. I deinstalled, cleaned the registry, installed on another drive again - no luck. Does anyone else have this problem?
