I had the same problem - and found the solution! B-] So for everyone like me who doesn't like to run dubious exe-files posted in the forum, change the registry setting yourself like this:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT --> Applications --> PSPad.exe --> shell --> open --> Command add "%1" to the end of the path: Name: (Standard) Type: REG_SZ Value: "C:\Program Files\PSPad\PSPad.exe" "%1" -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,57697,59604> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
