Silver007A: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DOS - Ansi (Windows)- Courier New -
Thanks -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are the "round" apostrophes and quotation marks really lost immediately just on copying them from a word document? Or is it rather on saving and reopening the file? - the second case would be understandable, as such characters are outside of the character set supported by windows-1252. Using, say, utf-8, you would be able to encode any valid unicode character looselessly. hth, vbr -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,59699,59715> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
