Hi, I had the same problem. Finally I fount this web site with free Japanese fonts: http://www.freejapanesefont.com/category/gothic/ and downloaded the Togoshi Gothic font. Close and open the PSpad again and you will find it in the list of available fonts. Make sure that your coding is UTF-8. It works on my PC with Windows 7.
