The 'Detailed statistics' in the file info dialog counts not only the number of
words, lines and characters but also
the number of occurrence of each of the letters and words. Maybe this slows down
the counting process so why not provide a
'Less detailed statistics' that will count only the number of words, lines and
characters. Maybe some users need only this infos
and they might benefit from the speed improvement if there is.
By the way, the 'Detailed statistics' isn't displayed for 'small' files
(since it isn't needed, it seems). What is the
max size of these 'small' files?
