This situation only occurs when loading files from the command line (which is how I always work :-P ); furthermore it only occurs when opening a *new* file, not an existing file.
Say I am in a directory such as c:\home\files and open new file: pspad new_file.cpp The actual path and filename for this file are c:\home\files\new_file.cpp However, pspad does not pick up the current path; it shows the filename (on the title bar) as "new_file.cpp", with no path. Then, when I go to save the file after editing, it opens the Save As dialog, and offers some other path as the destination, rather than my current directory. This is *very* inconvenient!! It can take quite a bit of clicking to maneuver back to my current directory to save the file... I would request that when opening a new file, please use the current directory as the base path; also, Save As should not be required, since I already have specified a filename. I would be *very* grateful if you would consider this! -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,63273,63273> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
