Hi, as I have already seen, discussions of this has already happened and was dropped. However I cannot understand the argument on pspad being a text editor, so it only can upload/work with text files on ftp. This is not reasonable because of several points and pspad is more than a text editor for a while now. The most important one for me is that ftp support is already there, so it should work as expected.
You should consider the workflow of working on the web. Working with php or html on the server and switching to another program, where you have to go through several steps to establish a connection, chose the correct working directory on the server and on the client is a lot of unnecessary work. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,64089,64089> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
