Hello, For my part I use winscp as windows client for sftp/scp file transferts.
When I am connected to server, I browse directories to find the file I want to edit, and then I click on it to launch edition (depending file extension, windows configuration,etc..) file is directly opened in pspad : if not just set external editor configuration in winscp to use pspad). Pspad works on a local temporary copy of files, and when I save the file in editor the file is automatically synchronized on remote server. To complete process, I use winscp to maintain a local copy of my remote version of file as local reference/backup, if needed. Very useful and performing workflow, used every days since a lot of years ;) -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,64784,64832> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
