I just downloaded the version
4.5.9 (2600)
(ZIP File), verified the checksum and unzipped everything into a freshly created
directory (c:\p\pspad). Clicking on PSPad.exe did not start the editor, but
opened a dialog box complaining that the file could not be accessed!
This image shows the Explorer window from where I started the file:
(viz http://oi61.tinypic.com/11b2lnq.jpg )
This image shows the error message:

The operating system used is Windows 7.
Since I have nearly all my programms organized within C:\p\SOMEDIRECTORY the
error is unlikely related to missing permissions for this directory. Could it
be, that the current portable version of PsPad is broken?
