The high DPI scaling issues that I reported a couple developer releases ago continue in this release, so I am reporting again.
Three display issues on high DPI displays with scaling seem to have appeared. ... 1) The text in drop down menus is about twice the size it should be. Not the menu titles, which are the right size, but the text in the menu after it drops down. This is true regardless what size menu icons are selected. This began in the new builds about a couple months ago. ... 2) There is now a space of several lines between the ruler numbers (0, 10, 20, ...) and the ruler ticks. I believe this started within the last couple builds. ... 3) the control buttons (minimize, etc.) for the tab window (not for the PSPad window) are not scaled up. I have uploaded two images, the main one being https://ctrlv.cz/3wtW which shows the issues, the secondary one https://ctrlv.cz/aV0D is just for comparison (showing the drop down menu for another, similar program). PSPad as shown here is being used on a Dell high resolution display (3840x2160) with scaling set to 250% under Windows 10. In PSPad I have selected the Toolbar icon set PSPad_64 and the Menu icon set PSPad_32. Changing the menu icon set, or turning off menu icons, has no visible effect on the menu font. The editor font is Lucida Console 10 regular. No compatibility setting is in place for windows to override the default high DPI scaling behavior for PSPad (this is Windows version 10.0.15063). The images offered were from PSPad version 5.0.0 (235), but it remains identical with 5.0.0 (243). -- Thanks as always. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,69090,69122> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
