Unfortunately, this bug persists. Even with 5.0.0. (277) I have several big CSS files that simply can't be opened. It crashes always. Even if I try to switch off all Syntax Highlighting, rename the file to .TXT, etc.! Are you aware of this? Do you need samples CSS files that causes this crashes?
Besides that, it seems that whatever I deactivate (MultiHighlighter, all Highlighter) PsPad ALWAYS activates it's highlighters! Even if I try to do it with Admin-Rights, the selections do not change anything. (Windows 10, 64bit, 1709) I tried with Admin/no Admin, MultiUser On/Off. PSPAD.INIs in both locations seem correct ([Highlighters] CSS=0).
