Maki. As usually from simple function is very long list of text analyse functions Your simple request - count sentences isn't exact, cause count of name of chapter is sentence too. Items in the list are sentences too. Your idea (sentence ends with sme chars) will work only for you and only in some languages. For others it will be unaccurate and they will request changes. And changes will break your sentence counting. Use scripting and write simple script, which will count sentences for you or add another counting from your analyse.
