Thanks for the message but I dont understand. I'm not trying open projects or do anything other than edit plain text files. It doesnt register .txt files .bat or many other purely text files. nor does it change the icon's for the file types. I have never seen this with pspad before - these are just text files I have no interest in .exe or other binary files.
