pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vany: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- automatically save the unsaved work to temporary file(s) without asking --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But after restore they will have wrong filenames. I understand it has sense for new unsaved files. But what to do with unsaved existing files? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, in such case (already existing file with unsaved changes), I would prefer creating a parallel backup of the current content in a temporary file (same as is planned for a new unsaved fie) and keeping the last realy saved state for the existing one. Ideally, on resuming/reopening the editor, a message could be displayed, informing about the two available versions of the file: one in the originally saved state, and an automatically backup-ed file with the state before the computer suspend.
