Hello FTP LIST command isn't standardized. Each server can have own format. Standardization comes with MLSD command.
To test if you get any file list, connect to your FTP server, show FTP log window nad press LIST button. This will bring raw list output into LOG. Try to connect without SSL/TLS. Do you get list of files? Try LIST or MLSD. If you will get list of files, you can continue with SSL/TLS connection.
