This is a wrong pattern because my original pattern was in the range of dates from 2000 to 2021. (20[01][0-9]|2020)
Your pattern does not work e.g. for the date 2020
example\.com/(diary/example/){0,1}20[01][0-9]([/-]\d{2}){2}([/-]\d+){0,1}
