In Settings->Program (part 2), I checked 'autosave main window position' and that seems to have resolved the issue.
Oddly, I did some searching and found some stuff that suggested checking PsPad.ini. What's so odd is that I was not able to find that file on my computer, but I did find PSPad_MU.ini. -- <https://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,79488,79490> PSPad freeware editor https://www.pspad.com
