This message is from the T13 list server.
FYI... Please pay attention when you reply to a T13 reflector (list server) message. This new list server is not configured the same as the previous ones with respect to the From: and Reply-To: header lines. The previous T13 list servers set the From: to the submitter's email address and the Reply-To: to the list server's email address. This would normal cause any reply to be sent back to the list. Some list servers are configured the other way: From: is the list server and Reply-To: is the submitter. This would normally cause any reply to be sent back to the submitter. As an operator of a list server I know you can never keep everyone happy. Some people like/want the first configuration, others like/want the second configuration. I like the first configuration. But the current T13 list server is has a third configuraiton: The From: is the submitter and there is no Reply-To: line. So if you just reply to a T13 message, like this message, that reply will go only to the submitter of the original message (for this message that would be me). Of course you should be running an email program that lets you see and control which email address(es) are used when you send out a reply. I know some popular email programs don't have this feature and in others it is something that must be enabled. As you have noticed now and then someone's private message will end up posted to this reflector. I can only assume the sender's email program is defective and not showing the sender what it is really doing and/or not showing the email addresses the private message is being sent to. *** Hale Landis *** [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** *** Niwot, CO USA *** www.ata-atapi.com *** Subscribe/Unsubscribe instructions can be found at www.t13.org.
