And speaking of ATA R/W DMA QUEUED EXT queued commands, it is time to allow these commands to release during the DMA transfer. I think it is silly to continue to say that a R/W DMA QUEUED EXT commands have only one release/service time (immediately after the Command reg is written). Requiring a device to transfer all 65536 sectors (33MBbytes), or even a 1000 sectors, without releasing is stupid.
