Just to give my personnal point : As the Partition Table handles both obsolete entries (CHS stuff) and usefull, and that the partition type can be handled by the owner of the format, I added mine (16 bits got in CHS). But I'd like (Hi Hale, you already proposed this last year) T13 to manage and standardize the partition table.
