Hi, I have a question regarding UDMA protocol. When a host terminates a UDMA transfer in progress by asserting STOP, does the IDE drive treat that as termination of command or does it consider that as a termination of that dma cycle? In other words after STOP_ assertion will the drive assert a new DMARQ? Or will it assume an error and update the status register with the appropriate value. I will appreciate it, if somebody could point out where in the specification this scenario is covered. Thanks, Steve _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
