Dear SFF Reflector Members, There are a few dimensions in the 5V 1.8" form factor table (ATA/ATAPI-7 section 7.4.4) that do not match the latest revision of SFF-8111. These are very small changes that were done in SFF-8111 before publication at SFF but after the section was added to ATA-7. The dimensions should be: A2 : 2.70" (not 2.756") A9: 0.126" (not 0.128") A10: 2.498" (not 2.500") The difference is very small but the two documents should match. We may also want to change the section title to '1.8" Form Factor (60 x 70mm)' to match SFF. I would like to add an additional A1 dimension to the table: 0.276" (7mm). This is an established 2.5" Z dimension. The 5V 1.8" form factor should include it also. Rather than make a proposal document I plan to recap this note at the August meeting and make a motion to effect these changes. If anyone would prefer that I make a proposal document please let me know and I will.
