Anybody here know the Win 2K/XP path to SCSI-over-whatever that don't have drive letters? Me, I only know the SCSI CDB path to a drive letter. For example, the path to the drive letter I: is the six chars "\\.\I:". In Win 2K/ XP, .c code can speak a CDB thru such a path by way of CreateFile DeviceIoControl IOCTL_SCSI_PASS_THROUGH, as does the source code at: http://members.aol.com/plscsi/ I don't have good data myself yet, but I hear Win 2K/XP often enough connects Wnaspi32.dll paths to other ATAPI devices, but the SCSI devices are missing, and the ATAPI devices are not reliably present. I figured I'd ask first here, then at t10, then at Apple. I haven't yet found a relevant portion of Usenet. Thanks in advance, Pat LaVarre
