Oh Hale, It was a given once the T10 people started into pushing SAS into SATA and SATA being promoted into T13. All the silicon startups doing SATA-FC bridges is clearly everyone taking advantage of the price break. SCSI-FC is fat cat about to be skinned/sheared smooth/clean of its bloat and excess costs. The pattern of the Five Paradigm shift of economies in storage is about to happen again. The last man standing game is in full swing and SATA is the only safe high ground left.
