URG, WC, and RC are defined only for READ/WRITE STREAM commands.

Subject: [t13] ATA7 streaming: RC/WC bit question
This message is from the T13 list server.
Someone please tell me where to go.
We seem to have lost part of the specification for
READ DMA [EXT] and WRITE DMA [EXT]
for when
URG=0 and (RC=0 (on read) and WC=0 (on write))
The most recent published version (d1532v1r1a.pdf) says nothing
about these cases.
I know that the meaning of these was discussed, but I cannot find a trace.
--------------------------
What I am <assuming> is this:
For read: if URG=0 and RC=0, the CCTO does not apply, and a timeout will
not
terminate the command
For write: (likewise)
-----------------------------
Am I way off-base, or does this seem like something we need to
explicitly state ? - or - does a different meaning apply ?
Thanx !!!
