Dear T13 Forum Subscriber,
There is a request from members working on Serial ATA to reserve two DCO
words for future Serial ATA specific features. I think this is a good
idea.
This request started me thinking about DCO in general. There are new
features in
ATA/ATAPI-7 such as the AV Feature Set that have no DCO bits.
Do we need new DCO bits for the new features in ATA/ATAPI-7?
