I also noticed this after posting a few messages describing the
effects of mixing non-O/Q commands and O/Q commands (as part of the
FUA discussion) and then seeing more messages that indicated a lack
of understanding.  It is very troublesome to me too - I just quit
posting messages in the FUA thread at that point.

I assume part of this is that no one has much experience with O/Q and
the current O/Q is not what anyone wants or will implement. Everyone
is waiting for the SATA secret society to make their version of
SATA-2/SAS "tagged command queuing" public.

But... Even more troublesome is the attitude you see here frequently:
"I know how a disk drive works, there is only one way a disk drive
works, I don't need to talk to a disk drive manufacturer about how a
drive works, etc".
