Whoa...  I thought SATA was now a T13 thing and as such all
discussions should be held under ANSI/INCITS/T13 rules and that
requires the meetings/discussions to be public?  Do I need to
start making calls and sending letters to ANSI and/or INCITS (or
to even "higher" authority) about this sort of private/secret
stuff?  This is not producing a "publicly" discussed and agreeded
to "standard".

Dan: Is this "steering committee meeting" an approved T13 
Ad Hoc meeting? Was there a meeting notice?
