Thanks for the status.  The t13 web site must be updated to reflect
EDD2's status as an ANSI/INCITS standard.

As for EDD3, we (Intel) posted a proposal to the web as document
e03145r0.  It basically is maintenance, asking for the addition of new
device types.

However if you don't have a sponsor, why should that hold up EDD3's
progress.  If someone isn't a member any more then their projects should
be re-assigned to someone who is.

OK, maybe I should say comething...

I have a new draft of EDD3, but I have not had a sponsor to go to the
meetings.  EDD2 is now published by ANSI as an standard, ANSI INCITS
363-2002.  The last draft worked on by committee is posted at the WEB
site.

I have had several requests for additions to EDD3.  Most of the requests
are what I would call maintenance issues.  New device types etc.  If you
have a request, please post it and I will put it on the list for EDD3.
