Some of you may recall I was renovating the RISC OS ATA driver. I've now got a complete replacement up and running to the functionality of its predecessor; I'm now trying to work on optimise it.
At present, I've set up PIO transfers using only READ SECTORS. My plan is to now set up a data transfer routine using READ MULTIPLE which will be used in preference. However, is there a situation where a device that can use READ MULTIPLE should opt for READ SECTORS instead?
