Keep in mind that the proposal is to obsolete the feature from ATA8.� This simply freezes it in its current state and requires implementers to look at ATA/ATAPI-7 for the capability.� I am not sure of the current host-side implementation state of Windows, Linux, etc.     ------------------------------------------------- Curtis E.
