            It is my belief that if e03124r6 were incorporated as is, it would change the way both hosts and drives function.  It is not clear if a host would need to change after the fixes are made, e03124 clears up ambiguities in the ATA/ATAPI-7 standard…

I have worked with an internal team to do a deeper analysis of e03124r6 (HPA state transition diagrams).  E05168r0 is a PDF with comments that show the results.  Please look this over prior to the meeting, I am sure we will be spending some time on the issues.
