Mark,

This should be single DRQ option described in the AHCI 1.0 specification. When bit 15 of the CAP register equal to 0, the host transfer one DRQ block. Please refer to the AHCI spec for details.

Joseph

I'm probably missing something subtle Joseph - hosts don't transfer IRQ at all. What do you mean by that statement?

Thanks!

Subject: [t13] SCT Tansport Question

In the SCT Data Transfer Section, it indicates the transfer can be concatenated with multiple E1h Read/Write Log commands. In the case of Long Sector Access command, can the host request with two E1h command, with one sector for each command. (The Long Sector Access command should return/receive 2 sectors of data.)

Note:

Some host can only transfer single IRQ for Read Log PIO data transfer.

Regards,

Joseph
