Jim

The transport docs are supposed to show the mapping of data words to
registers, FIS fields, or whatever.

from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of
breaking down in the near future.

Subject: [t13] ata8-acs: Word orderining within a multi-word field

This message is from the T13 list server.

A question has come up that needs to be ironed out at the dec. meeting.

For a multi-word command field (e.g. LBA): words 2-4
a) what is the order of the words within the field
b) how are the individual words mapped to the bits ?

answer 1:
         word 02 word 03 word 04
