Anyone out there care to comment about the following? http://www.acelab.ru/products/pc-en/pc3000.htmlAre the disk drive manufacturers still shipping drives with a serial port (RS232 or equivalent) enabled? Are you still shipping drives that allow simple and easy procedures to replace the drive's firmware or simple and easy access to the drive's internal data (like the zone and spare tables)?
