From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Curtis Stevens Sent: Friday, September 29, 2006 9:29 AM To: forum@t13.org Subject: [t13] WEB/reflector requirements discussion I am working on transitioning the t13.org services from Phoenix to WD.  During this process there is a possibility of improving the system.  I would like to schedule a telecon for 10-Oct at 10:00am PST to discuss possible improvements.  This is not an authorized working group, but I would like the input before moving forward.  There will be a working prototype of the WEB site made available prior to the telecon which we can use as a forum for discussion.  Mark Overby will be providing “live meeting” and will post the necessary information.   After the telecon I will write up a document on the plan and would like a vote of endorsement at the next meeting.  Improvements I am currently investigating:   Automated document number requesting Automated document submission w/website update Updated look, should be available to view next week Spam filter on the reflector Anonymous FTP login (read only)   One of the things I would like to think about is changing the name of the reflector and having people resubscribe.  I believe that this would cut down on the spam significantly as well as give us some house cleaning.  I would also like to implement a screening process where a subscriber has to confirm the subscription by responding to a confirmation E-Mail.   ------------------------------------------------- Curtis E.
