I was in training yesterday and was unavailable to respond.
Regarding the Protel export interface to Solidworks.
The Protel/SolidWorks Interface allows Protel users to create a SolidWorks
assembly of a PCB directly from the Protel environment It enables designers
to check for assembly problems such as mis-alignment of mounting holes or
mechanical interference. It also provides a means of visualising the PCB
assembly.
The software is written specifically for Protel and Solidworks, however
there is an IDF export for those using other types of 3D CADD, though I have
not tested that export personally.
I represent the Software company in North America, though my own affairs as
an independant consultant.
Both export interface packages sell for $495.00 USD. At this time only
purchase orders, money orders and company cheques are accepted as a secure
webline is not in place. If you prefer a credit card sale, email me off line
for a contact number where the transaction can be arranged.
Once an order is received, the software can be downloaded from an ftp site
and the unlocking code will be sent via email.
