I beg to differ.
My templates (A4,A3,A2) use Protels' (99SEsp6) standard title block (not
ANSI). They do have the addition of an extra box for our company logo.

If the Document Options / Sheet Options / Title Block check box is unchecked
(I'm editing the .dot file here) then only our logo is visible, this is
editable. If the Document Options / Sheet Options / Title Block check box is
checked then the title block appears, BUT IS NOT EDITABLE, trust me I've
tried.

You must have designed a complete title block for your .dot file and have
the Document Options/ Sheet Options / Title Block check box unchecked. This
is the only way I can think of to change the .DOC_FILE_NAME special
annotation to .DOC_FILE_NAME_NO_PATH

Regards,

Tom.

Well, I think you can, but to do that, you have to go through a bunch of
mouse-ing
to pull in the template DDB, open up the specific template file, and then
save
it back.

I copied the standard templates to a new ddb and made my changes to that
one.
I spent a couple of days, total, over about 3 months, making the templates
work
right, so you could see the text. I often print B and C sheets on A size
paper, and
the standard template was too small to read. I even figured out how to put
our logo
into the title block.
