I have found two problems when importing Orcad .DSN files. The first
is when ports are mis-aligned after importation. This can be solved by
going to Tools>References and making sure the "OrCAD (TM) Ports box is
unchecked. The other problem has been parts on the imported schematic
all having "Hidden" pins, meaning they can't be seen unless you enable
show hidden pins on the schematic. The imported cache looks fine and can
be used to update the parts, but only one part at a time. Is there a way
to get around this re-editing of part characteristics? This doesn't
happen with all .DSN files, could this be a result of the Orcad version
or the way Protel is set up?
