My information about this is that the new autorouter will be released
with the next very few weeeks. my "spy" talked about 2-3 weeks. and i
should look at protel web site.
it will be free for all P99SE users as a service pack and that new
autorouter will be nearly as good as the spectra router.
My information is that it is not planned to release a new protel version
"Protel 2001" ... all goodies will be in the service packs.
well my opinion is, it is about time that protel improves the
autorouter. the more complex the boards is, the more i have to use finer
grid the more time it takes for me to "clean" the result the autorouter
gives.. the current version does realy creazy things with finepitch when
entering or leaving the smd pads.
we will see what we will get in the next weeks :-)
